European Poetry Festival

European Poetry Festival 2024

coming soon, our Winter Camarade : November Saturday 16th, at Rich Mix, London

10 events to full houses, over 100 poets performing 80 brand new live collaborations, with dozens visiting from nations across our continent - the summer European Poetry Festival was a great happening across the UK, one of the grandest celebrations of European poetry ever to take place in Britain. As ever before, the festival was a jubilant, innovative, communal experience - celebrating collaboration, literary liveness and cross-linguistic inventiveness. Our events at National Poetry Library, National Centre for Writing, Rich Mix, Kingston University Town House and other venues, hosted poets from Catalonia, Flanders, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Latvia, Norway and many other nationalities, all of whom presented new live poetry as premieres, made for the events, with UK-based counterparts. Visit europeanpoetryfestival.com/2024 for more information, photographs and every single performance documented on our youtube channel. Thanks to everyone who supported, participated and attended such a wonderful few weeks.
