EPF Digital 2020 - An eight part online festival, presenting long-form video interviews and entirely original poetry films.

Unable, finally, to take place in the flesh this year, the festival will present poets from Switzerland, Austria, Latvia, Sweden, Hungary, Lithuania and more, leaning in to what can be created without proximity, generating new insights into poetic practice in continental Europe and creating ambitious film-poetry collaborations especially for this two week e-fest.

The festival will be released every few days November 23rd to December 11th in newsletters and online. Sign up to receive the festival, and future news, as newsletters in your inbox here

The links to each ‘event’ of the festival will light up below as they are released. Dates to be added and subject to revision.

Originally scheduled for April 2020, then October 2020, with over 14 live events, we held out hope for a physical festival prior to EPF digital, and continued to create content online in hope. Our live zoom events began in May 2020 and continued through the summer, culminating in a series of brand new video-poetry commissions, made in partnership with Versopolis’ Festival of Hope EU initiative and 3am magazine. These twenty two brand new remote readings and digital performances were released in three editions, and ranged in style, form and innovation.

Our festival will return, if possible, in April 2021.
